American journalist David Jason Muir was born on November 8, 1973, in New York City, and is currently the anchor of ABC World News Tonight and co-anchor of ABC News magazine 20/20. David Muir grew up in Onondaga Hill and was raised in a Roman Catholic family in Syracuse, New York.
