COVID-19: 220 New Cases Reported In Nigeria

Breaking: NCDC announces 145 new Covid-19 cases, Lagos leads with 57

NCDC has announced 220 new cases of the Coronavirus Disease (2019) pandemic today, Saturday, 2nd of May. The new cases were reported in Nineteen (19) States and has now taken the total COVID-19 cases in Nigeria to 2388.

Lagos has recorded the highest number (62) while Federal Capital Territory (Abuja) had the second highest number of reported cases (52), Kaduna was behind Lagos and Abuja with 31 reported COVID-19 cases.

Active Cases – 2918

Discharged Persons – 385

Deaths Recorded – 85

Total Confirmed Cases – 2388

The fight against the Coronavirus is still going strong, and we will overcome only when we strive together, avoid social gathering, maintain high level of hygiene and stay healthy.
