Coronavirus: This is what we will do to anyone without face mask - FG

As the federal government continues to fight the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, it has put in place some very important guidelines for Nigerians to strictly follow.

The directives followed President Muhammdu Buhari’s easing of the lockdown earlier imposed especially in states like Lagos, Ogun and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, Channels TV reports.

As part of the guidelines contained in a document signed by the secretary-general of the federation, Boss Mustapha, Nigerians have been advised to always wear face masks in public places.

The government said that henceforth anyone found without a face mask will be prosecuted and whoever violates the inter-state lock down will face the wrath of the law.

The document partly read: “Anyone who presents a temperature of above 38ºC will be mandated to return home and call NCDC for evaluation.

“Anyone violating the curfew in a non-emergency situation will be prosecuted. Anyone attending a gathering of more than 20 people will be prosecuted.”
