Brazilian midfielder, Carlos Casimiro, has joined Manchester United from Real Madrid on a reported fee of 60 million pounds plus £10m add-ons.

The Spanish club announced Casemiro’ departure in a statement on Friday. Manchester United also confirmed in a club statement that they have reached an “agreement with Real Madrid for the transfer of Casemiro.”

The EPL outfit, however, noted that “the transfer is subject to the agreement of personal terms, UK visa requirements and a medical.”

According to transfer market expert, Fabrizio Romano, the contract is a four-year deal with an option for a further season.

His wages will put him among the highest earners at Old Trafford.

Romano said a credible source said Casemiro will fly to Manchester on Saturday, for medical tests, then his visa will be sorted, and he will be officially unveiled as a Manchester United player.
