Byler’s ‘van scene’ script being delayed on 8FLiX irks Stranger Things fans

The Stranger Things fandom has been patiently waiting for the new Byler script, aka Will Byers and Mike Wheeler’s script, of the ‘van scene’ from the show’s season 4 to release. But, a delay in its release on 8FLiX has frustrated fans.

For the unversed, 8FLiX is a website run by Nick Runyeard, who is also a top IMDb contributor. The website releases screenplays, transcripts, teleplays as well photos and videos for film and television lovers.

8FLiX is extremely popular among fans of Stranger Things. Many have been waiting for the script that was meant to be released on Friday, August 5th. But, it’s not out just yet.

Delay in Byler’s ‘van scene’ script irks fans

The Byler script, starring Noah Schnapp’s Will Byers and Finn Wolfhard’s Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things season 4’s episode 9, was expected to release on Friday, August 5th, but it is not out yet.

Many fans, who have been desperately waiting to see the transcripts of the scene, took to Twitter to express their frustration over the delay.

“Byler script isn’t out yet, so I blocked Noah Schnapp,” one irked fan joked on Twitter.

“I JUST NEED THE SCRIPT PLEASE I’M SHAKING,” another fan said.

“YOU LIE! YOU SAY BLYER SCRIPT AT 4 CHIMES! IT IS PAST 5 CHIMES AND STILL NO #bylerscript! YOU ARE LIKE PAPA,” a third fan wrote while tagging 8FLiX’s account and using a Stranger Things reference.

Some claim 8 FLiX’s Byler script has already been released

A few fans on Twitter have claimed that the Byler script has been “leaked,” while some others have tweeted that they have already received it.

“GUYS I GOT THE SCRIPT HOLY S**T #bylerscript,” one fan said.

Another fan shared a picture of a script that they claimed was a “new leak“.

Writing for Stranger Things season 5 has begun

The script writing for Stranger Things‘ final season has officially begun.

The Netflix series’ writing team shared an image on Twitter on Tuesday, August 2, with the caption “Day 1,” suggesting that they were at the beginning stages of the making of season 5.

In February 2020, the showrunners, Duffer Brothers, announced the final season.

“There are still many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things: new mysteries, new adventures, new unexpected heroes. But first, we hope you stay with us as we finish this tale,” they said.
