The days of President Donald Trump seems to be almost over in the White House despite his refusal to acknowledge that he has been defeated by former vice president Joe Biden of the Democratic Party.
The reality that Trump has lost can be highlighted by the recent statement from Twitter when the social media giant through Nick Pacilio, one of its spokesperson told CNN that it would hand control of the @POTUS account to the new Biden administration on Inauguration Day.
The @POTUS account is the official account of the President of the United States.
According to the social media giant, this will also be applicable to a dozen White House accounts, including the @FLOTUS and @PressSec accounts.
Meanwhile, reactions have swiftly followed the latest development on social media.
Doug Jacques wrote:
“Perhaps Biden should just delete the account, since it serves no useful purpose other than to spread lies. It is no place to formally state the policy of a mature country.”
Babu Bula added:
“Hurray, alas the apprentice comedian is leaving the helm! Thank God there will be some decency befitting POTUS at the oval office.”
Martin Hebblewhite on his part said:
“Trump rarely used potus account….because it is linked to the national archives… therefore his rantings will be accessible to historians for hundreds of years.”
Flavio Gomes also said:
“I am willing to bet we won’t see many tweets from President Biden. Lmao he will be too busy fixing and undoing everything this bozo left for him to do.”
