Black Friday 2022 is here and you may be eager to tick off the items on the wishlist you’ve wanted for a long time. But, will stores be opening at midnight (12 am) to fulfil your shopping needs?
So, if you have planned your shopping schedule for the next couple of days, let us share more information on the opening hours of some of your favorite stores.
ARE STORES OPENING AT MIDNIGHT FOR BLACK FRIDAY 2022?
No, stores will not be open at midnight for Black Friday 2022.
A lot has changed since the pandemic, especially in the shopper’s world. Unlike before when stores would allow their customers to start their Black Friday shopping when the clock struck 12 at night, the style has changed in 2022.
This year, almost all stores are opening during regular hours or a few hours early on the occasion of Black Friday.
Bed Bath & Beyond is the only store opening until midnight on Friday, after starting at 5 am.
STORE HOURS ON NOVEMBER 25
Several big stores are sticking to their regular hours on Friday. This could also be credited to the online sales that began much before the day arrived.
However, below are the store opening hours of a few big brands on Black Friday 2022:
- Target – 7 am
- Walmart – 6 am
- Costco – 9 am
- Macy’s – 6 am
- Best Buy – 5 am
- TJ Maxx – 7 am
- Marshalls – 7 am
- Nordstrom – 9 am
- Sam’s Clun – 10 am
Always call your local store before making a visit as the above timings may not apply to every branch.
ARE BANKS AND POST OFFICES CLOSED?
As Thursday was a national holiday and several services remained closed, some of you might have tasks lined up for Friday that aren’t shopping related – such as banking and delivery of mail.
While most banks and the US Postal service observed a holiday on Turkey Day, they will resume functioning during the regular hours on Friday.
Nothing is closed on November 25 as it isn’t a federal or state holiday. All services and businesses are expected to remain open and function as normal.
