Emeka Ike is known in the film industry as a Nigerian lover boy, a character that will put a smile on people’s faces while playing his love role in a movie. As talented as he is, Emeka Ike has in some occasions receive a brand name as a Bad boy after playing the role of bad boy in a movie.

Emeka Ike was born and brought up in Lagos State but a native of Imo State. Hearing that he is from Imo State means that he is an Igbo boy with Igbo blood running in his vain.

He has his primary and secondary education in Lagos State of Nigeria. He also had his tertiary education in Lagos where he studied mechanical engineering. Emeka Ike started acting when he was still an undergraduate though it wasn’t easy for him but luckily for him, one day he came in contact with Ernest Obi who introduced him to a producer by name Charles Owoyemi when he was producing a TV series. The first movie to feature Emeka Ike was Deadly Affair which Emeka Ike played a major role in 1987.
